Weight of 50 kg can be accommodated
With its Kardex Mlog Division, the Kardex Group presents the universally applicable MCrossDrive 3D container shuttle. According to the manufacturer, the container shuttle focuses not only on efficiency and dynamics but also on flexibility and scalability.
The shuttle is designed to hold containers weighing 50 kg with a standard size of 400 mm × 600 mm. Directional changes of 90° are made via an automatic axis change, and the level in the rack can also be changed via lifting stations. This means that the system is neither aisle-bound nor level-bound and can move practically freely in the longitudinal, transverse and vertical directions. According to the manufacturer, this means that variable and high-performance system solutions can be implemented even in unfavorable spatial conditions and previously unused space can be converted into valuable storage space. In the basic version, the system consists of a rack dimensioned according to the required capacity, an MCrossDrive 3D and a vertical lifter. It is also possible to integrate the vehicle as an alternative to conventional conveyor technology, for example in order picking or buffer warehouses.
