Range of embedded communication interfaces expanded
Anybus CompactCom is a product family of ready-to-install embedded communication interfaces for connecting automation devices to all major industrial networks. The 'B40 Mini' complements the existing range of slide-in modules and plug-in brick solutions with a solder-on brick solution. It is soldered directly onto the carrier board of the automation device and, according to HMS Networks, is 30% smaller than the plug-in brick solution. This makes it particularly suitable for small automation devices. The communication interface is supplied on tape and reel, is optimized for automated production with pick & place and SMD soldering processes and is designed for high quantities. The B40 Mini has the industrial Ethernet networks Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Powerlink, Ethercat, Modbus-TCP and BACnet/IP pre-installed and can also be supplied preset for a specific network.
