Control module from the Slim Collection by Kendrion

Brake specialist Kendrion has responded to requirements such as power density and intelligent drives and developed the Slim Collection control modules. They are available as PWM modules for servomotors or as rectifiers for asynchronous motors and are suitable for brakes with a holding power of up to approx. 225 W or a switching power of up to 450 W. The full switching voltage can be made available for a limited time for fast and powerful switching on, which shortens the opening time. The electronics then switch down to a variable value under microcontroller control - resulting in energy savings of up to 75 % and a reduction in heat. Thanks to highly integrated electronic components, the modules take up significantly less space than conventional solutions. The complete electronics are housed on a plastic-coated circuit board and can therefore be mounted close to the drive or in the motor terminal box with just one central screw. Thanks to an optimized manufacturing process, smaller quantities can also be produced at low cost. The advantages: Compact design, high power density, simple installation and low price.
