With the VOS product family, Pepperl+Fuchs closes the gap between simple vision sensors and complex vision systems. Four basic devices offer a gradually growing range of functions with numerous equipment options.
The devices in the product family can be individually adapted to different applications and, according to Pepperl+Fuchs, can handle practically all types of object identification and code reading. The devices for automated image processing are housed in a compact housing that contains the image acquisition chip, adjustable lenses, lighting, integrated evaluation, digital outputs and communication interfaces. They can read codes and recognize texts as well as identify, measure, position and align objects. Users select the appropriate components from the modular portfolio. The license-free software package includes a comprehensive tool set and numerous options for parameterization. Interfaces, switching outputs, data format and data output can be individually adapted.
