Update for servomotor in hygienic design

Baumüller has revised the HYG1 servo motor series for aggressive environments and for industries with very high demands on hygiene, cleanliness and corrosion protection and has increased the flexibility for connection to the customer's machines.

In addition to the previously available B14 flange option, the B5 option is now available for connecting the servo motor to gearboxes. With this variant, the Baumüller motor can also be mounted on stainless steel gearboxes. The servo motor in protection class IP69K has a round housing made of stainless steel and, thanks to the single-cable solution (main connection and encoder cable), requires no additional plug connections and therefore very little wiring. The corrugated design of the servomotor maximizes the surface area and therefore the motor's own cooling.

The motor series is currently available in size 36 and in two different lengths with an output of up to 1160 W and a speed of 1000 to 4000 rpm.
