Robot factory officially opened in Slovenia
After around two years of construction, the Japanese technology group Yaskawa officially opened its new robot production facility and a new European robotics development center at its site in Kočevje, Slovenia, on 8 April in front of around 300 invited guests.
Yaskawa 's new plant in Slovenia complements the existing production facilities in Japan and China and is expected to cover around 80% of European demand for Motoman robots. The investment volume is around 25 million euros. - Impressions from the opening ceremony:
