Smart HMI small controllers for installation

The touch displays in the 'uniTFT' series from Display Visions help to quickly implement control tasks. Graphics and I/O controllers are already integrated into the intelligent displays.

With the HMI displays in the series, Display Visions combines graphic displays and intelligent small controllers. Thanks to the integrated I/O and a graphics controller, users can implement complete control applications without additional hardware. The displays are capable of logical and arithmetic operations as well as data communication and storage. They also have four analog inputs and eight freely programmable inputs/outputs (3.3 V). They communicate with external sensors and microcontrollers via I2C, SPI, RS232 and USB ports. The models up to 4.3 inches store their data in the internal flash memory, the displays from 5 inches to 10.1 inches also have a micro SD slot. An audio output for acoustic messages is also available. The operating voltage is 3.3 V. Thanks to IPS technology, the optimum reading range is a full 170° both horizontally and vertically. According to the manufacturer, this means that the displays always show a true-color, high-contrast image, even from extreme viewing angles. With typical brightness levels of 1,000 cd/m², they are easy to read even in extreme ambient light. Their touch surfaces are capable of multi-gesture control. The displays are available in graduated sizes from 1.5 inches to 10.1 inches, with resolutions between 240x240 RGB pixels and 1,280x800 pixels.
