The BTC24 supports up to four 4K displays, while either two 4K or three Full HD displays can be connected to the BTC22 via USB-C Alt Mode. Both models are equipped with 8 Gbyte DDR4 RAM (BTC24 with 2x 4 Gbyte dual-channel RAM) and have a third LAN port. This enables additional network connections, for example for connection to a further network in addition to the already redundantly connected DCS or MES system. The pre-installed thin client management software 'VisuNet RM Shell 6' from Pepperl+Fuchs (based on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021) simplifies setup and enables remote connections such as RDP and VNC to be established quickly. Alternatively, software options such as IGEL OS 12 or ThinManager are also available. The robust devices have no moving parts, which makes them resistant to temperature fluctuations and vibrations. Special cable protectors prevent connections from coming loose during operation and thus help to prevent failures.
