The devices are equipped with a touch panel and can also process control commands. This allows them to be used as slave terminals. The Modbus displays have a high-resolution display and can be read from a viewing angle of up to 170°. With the free WYSIWYG tool ' HMI Designer, screen pages can be created using drag-and-drop and linked to Modbus registers. Data is thus automatically displayed at the intended positions on the screen. All Modbus registers of the display configured as a slave can be assigned to different display types such as numerical values, bar graphs, images or text information; 32-bit values for floating point numbers can also be transmitted. Up to 256 Modbus registers are supported. The displays in the series can be connected to Modbus masters and used in RTU and TCP operating modes. Data and supply cables are arranged in such a way that they can be mounted on walls, front panels or control cabinet doors.
