The CPU SKUs of the Kontron computer are quad-core units that support special Vector Neural Network Instructions (VNNI) and Doubled Signal Processing Performance (AVX512). According to the provider, the Gen12 Gfx graphics engine ensures maximum performance in computer vision and media processing. In addition, direct on-chip access to the main memory enables high performance of the 96 Execution Units (EUs). The Blade PC requires only 12 to 28 W on a blade. Specific sensors for power and temperature monitoring make the computer suitable for safety-critical applications. Thanks to its TPM module and the Kontron SEC-Line elements, the 'VX3060-S2' offers a hardware 'Root of Trust'.

The pin assignment is compatible with the VITA65 OpenVPX profiles and supports the SOSA standard to accelerate avionics certification. A comprehensive Linux BSP enables immediate evaluation and benchmarking.
