Remote management platform for the network infrastructure
NetModule has updated its modular 'Connectivity Suite' management platform. Among other things, it consists of a secure network infrastructure for managing the manufacturer's routers.
The devices can be managed remotely from a central location anywhere in the world. This allows security updates, firmware versions and configuration changes to be carried out and a scalable network with VPN encryption to be managed automatically. According to NetModule, the platform organizes projects with several hundred devices and supports the integration of the connected systems into a higher-level complex back-end infrastructure. The dashboard for central management simplifies the inventory, installation and maintenance of routers and gateways. A list of all devices registered in the network provides an overview and enables access to information such as type, firmware and online status. In the updated version (v 3.6), individual details can be called up by clicking on the displayed values.
