Fast network interoperability and integration
Moxa launches the SDS-3016 series: The Gigabit Smart Ethernet Switch with 14+2G ports has a Gigabit uplink, eight additional ports and an easily configurable automation profile for industrial applications.
There are three pre-configured automation protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet and Modbus/TCP), two installation options - DIN rail and rack mounting - and a 1-page dashboard GUI for easy device configuration and port diagnostic reports. An additional rotary DIP switch is located on the bottom of the device to allow users to make profile-based settings without a web browser.
Moxa 's Smart Switch is designed specifically for industrial automation engineers and machine builders by providing only the features they need. They do not need to have any knowledge of IT-based network management. The one-step configuration enables seamless SCADA/HMI/NMS integration. RSTP/STP/MRP(Client) network redundancy is supported.
