Ethernet switches for industrial applications
Moxa launches the 'MRX' series of Layer 3 rackmount Ethernet switches. They offer up to 64 ports, including 16 ports with 10 GbE speed, to accelerate data aggregation for industrial applications.
The MRX-Q4064/G4064 series switches from Moxa have 16 or eight 10 GbE ports that aggregate the transmission of large amounts of data. Their port trunking capabilities allow up to eight 10GbE ports to be grouped into a single 80Gbps connection for maximum transmission bandwidth. Intelligent temperature control functions, eight fan modules and dual power supply modules ensure the uptime and stability of the series. The 'Turbo Ring' and 'High-Availability Static Trunk (HAST)' technologies provide redundant network paths and connectivity for high availability of large network infrastructures. The rackmount Ethernet switches have integrated LCD modules (LCMs), which can be used to check the device status and quickly rectify faults. The hot-swappable modularity allows modules to be replaced without affecting operation.
