Safety controller SC26 2 from Turck
© Turck
With the SC26-2, Turck is presenting a safety controller that was developed by Turck's optoelectronics partner Banner Engineering. It fulfills control tasks parallel to the safety functions without complex programming and lengthy training. Predefined function blocks and Boolean operators simplify the configuration of control tasks and safety functions. In addition to the 18 standard inputs, the controller offers eight freely configurable I/Os, which can be configured for monitoring input signals (e.g. from emergency stop buttons or safety light curtains), for supplying 24 V(DC) or as I/O status outputs. The controllers also offer two redundant PNP semiconductor outputs. The PC software for configuring the graphical user interface can display the selected configuration as a ladder diagram or as a text-based summary of all input and output settings. Optional LC displays show the I/O status and diagnostic data such as error messages or wiring details. The devices are also available with an integrated Ethernet interface: They provide up to 64 virtual status outputs via Ethernet. The Ethernet connection automatically registers the configuration depending on its configuration.
