For the monitoring of Profinet networks, Indu-Sol offers a combined solution for diagnostics and topology which, according to the provider, can also be easily operated by non-IT professionals. The Profinet DiagnosticDuo works like a navigation system for the system and can therefore support maintenance engineers in their work. Thanks to the interaction between the live topology plan and the diagnostic display, the position of each network node and its "health status", which is indicated graphically by traffic light colors, is immediately visible. The "Proscan Active" topology software works hand in hand with the "Profinet Inspector". It automatically scans the network at individually adjustable intervals during operation and then creates a graphical topology plan with information including the Profinet name, IP or MAC address and current port assignment. The Profinet inspector is responsible for network diagnostics and permanently analyzes the communication quality with regard to parameters such as network load, jitter and update rate.
