Berghof launches the DC2004 display controller with a 4.3-inch display and the DC2007 with a 7-inch display. The devices are designed for short PLC cycle times and hard real-time, which is made possible by a scalable 800 MHz Arm CPU with CortexTM-A9 core. In addition, all display controllers are equipped with the latest Codesys V3 programming language. In combination with the Codesys Softmotion package, multi-axis drive applications can be developed. Ethernet, Ethercat, CAN bus, RS232 and RS485 are integrated as communication interfaces in both display controllers. Protocols such as Profinet, Bacnet and Modbus are also available. Digital and analog I/Os as well as optional expansion cards complete the functionalities. Both touchscreen devices are equipped with either a continuous, niche-free clean front foil or a capacitive multi-touch glass front.
