With the optoelectronic C23 miniature sensors in cubic design, Contrinex offers a complete series for level, position and presence detection. The series includes sensors with background suppression and diffuse sensors as well as retro-reflective and through-beam sensors with adjustable detection ranges. All devices in the series are equipped with the latest ASIC technology with IO-Link. Thanks to ASIC technology, the number of sensor components has been significantly reduced and the sensor has been reduced to a housing size of 20 mm × 30 mm × 10 m. The sensors with background suppression have so-called pinpoint LEDs, which, according to the manufacturer, enable the precise detection of small objects even without laser technology. A special optical system ensures background suppression. The through-beam sensors in the series achieve a range of 30,000 mm, are protected against crosstalk and have an integrated alignment aid. All PNP switching sensors in the series have IO-Link. This makes it possible to adapt not only the switching distance of the sensor, but also functions such as sequence selection, switching time timer, counter functions, sensitivity settings, diagnostics and data monitoring to the respective application.
