The industrial 'mGuard Security Appliances' from Innominate are now also available in mobile radio versions: The devices have a combined mobile radio module that supports four GSM and five UMTS/HSPA frequencies as well as the American CDMA2000-EV-DO standard, thus offering almost global coverage. Provider redundancy is supported with two SIM cards. GPS/GLONASS provides location information for mobile applications and global time synchronization for stationary systems. With the help of the integrated COM server, serial devices can also communicate via Ethernet and global VPN connections without additional protocol converters. The integrated managed switch and dedicated DMZ ports support the creation of secure local network structures, for example with separation of production and engineering networks.
