The Italian company REEL - part of the KSB Group - presents the REEL SuPremE, a motor for compressors and fans. It is based on the synchronous reluctance principle in efficiency class IE4 (in accordance with IEC/CD 60034-30 Ed.2). The motor maintains its high efficiency even under partial load. It is also manufactured without the use of magnets or rare earth metals. As the motor is able to guarantee absolute speed precision and position accuracy without external sensors such as encoders or resolvers, machines are easier to implement and maintenance costs are reduced.
