The 570 SSI position indicator from Kübler displays SSI formats from 8 to 32 bits. It can be used as a display, control unit, SSI analog converter and SSI-RS-232/RS-485 interface converter for all of the manufacturer's SSI encoders. The display can be scaled to the desired measured variable in order to display and evaluate degrees, length or position in the desired unit. The display scaling is carried out by multiplication and division factor, offset by addition value. The position display is also master and slave-capable. With a maximum clock frequency of 1 MHz, it is also suitable for fast transmissions. One of the special functions is encoder monitoring, which detects whether the encoder is still transmitting data and can then control the outputs. A version with two relay outputs has been added to the existing versions. The relay outputs are used as limit values or preselections and can also be programmed as drag preselections. This version with relays also has an RS-232/RS-485 interface. In addition to plug-in screw terminals, the display has AC and DC power supply in one device. With IP65 on the front, the membrane keypad is also suitable for the food industry.
