With the second generation of its energy-saving refrigeration dryers from the 'Secotec' series, it has designed an extremely economical storage dryer: This is now available up to a size of 34^m3/min. Overall, the models cover the range from 17 to 34^m3/min. According to Kaeser, this is made possible by an innovative latent storage system. It contains a storage material that has a 98 percent higher storage density compared to conventional storage media due to its solid/liquid phase change. With the same storage capacity, the refrigeration dryers are significantly more compact: they require up to 46 percent less floor space and are around 60 percent lighter than conventional dryers. The compact design means that the pressure loss has been reduced to 0.15 bar. By comparison, conventional models have a differential pressure of 0.20 bar and more.
