Rockwell Automation presents the Allen-Bradley Guardmaster 440C-CR30 safety relay. The safety relay is configured using the supplier's 'Connected Components Workbench Software'. It reduces programming time and increases productivity as users can create, control and monitor their safety system and standard controller in the same software environment. The device is PLe and SIL 3 compliant according to EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 and is suitable for applications that require four to nine safety circuits and monitoring of a maximum of five zones. With 22 integrated I/O safety points - including six configurable I/Os - the safety relay is ideal for applications that require multiple safety zones. The safety relay can also be expanded with two standard "Micro800" plug-in modules to support 16 additional standard I/O points without requiring additional space.
