Hima has expanded the 'Himax' product family with a CPU called X-CPU 31 specifically for small and medium-sized security applications. While the 'X-CPU 01' used for large safety applications is used with a separate system bus module, all the functions of the system bus module have been integrated into the new CPU. This makes the safety system more scalable and simplifies adaptation to the respective application. The CPU supports all Himax functions and can be seamlessly integrated into the system family. Thanks to safe communication via Safeethernet, the CPU is also suitable for distributed structures.
