Wenglor completes its safety range with safety light curtains, safety switches, relays and guard locking devices as well as safety columns. A total of four variants are available in the safety light curtain range, whereby the type 4 curtains can be used for both manual and finger protection. Equipped with basic functions such as protective operation, restart interlock or contactor monitoring, they reliably safeguard danger points. The curtains do not have a blind area. The through-beam safety light barriers can be easily aligned thanks to the visible red light and monitor areas up to a maximum of 60 m. For applications that require full-body protection, there are multi-beam light curtains (type 2 / type 4) that cover areas between 0.5 and 20 m with red light beams. Four control elements and various safety relays are also new to the range. The emergency stop switch is self-monitoring, failsafe and can be installed quickly thanks to standardized connection technology. Thanks to RFID technology, the safety switch enables process-safe position monitoring of movable safety guards; the matching solenoid interlock prevents access or entry to the danger zone. The fourth operating element is an enabling switch, which is a manually operated command device that enables work to be carried out in the danger zone. Two safety relays and an extension module are also part of the portfolio.
