Pilz presents the safety relay PNOZ c2 from the PNOZcompact product range for safe monitoring of type 4 photoelectric sensors or sensors with safe switching outputs (OSSD outputs) in accordance with EN 61496. The response time of maximum 12 ms ensures flexible safety, as photoelectric sensors can be mounted closer to the hazardous movement. Depending on the application environment, rear-grip protection can be omitted. The safety relay meets safety requirements up to PL e or SIL CL 3. The response time of the safety relay is displayed on its front. In combination with "PSENopt" photoelectric sensors and "PSENcode" safety gate switches, for example, a safe solution for electro-sensitive protective equipment is created. Two start options - monitored or automatic - simplify the connection of the desired start option, as additional wire jumpers are not required for selection.
