The machine operator can use an operating touchpad to teach the system work sequences - graphical step-by-step representations of the tasks. Once tasks have been learned, the production assistant saves them and they can be called up at any time at the touch of a button. The networking of the 'APAS family' systems allows work processes to be exchanged between them. In addition to the assistant, the system offers special automation devices, for example a mobile optical inspection system with 3D imaging and an automation platform for specific tasks such as part labeling.
