Datalogic introduces the PowerScan PM9500, a mobile 2D imager for industrial environments. The handheld imager scanner series was developed for industrial applications. With the company's own narrowband radio system 'Star2.0 Cordless System', they offer more range than a Bluetooth radio system and greater robustness, according to the supplier. The radio system is based on 433 MHz or 910 MHz and enables both simple point-to-point connections and network set-ups in combination with bidirectional seamless roaming communication for more complex installations.
