Alpha TechSys has been working with Basler for many years and will operate as Basler India with around twenty employees in the future. The remaining 24% will remain with the current owner and founder as well as future managing director until further notice, with the option of a future takeover by the Basler Group.

Hardy Mehl, CCO/COO at Basler, and Harshal Pore, founder and Managing Director of Alpha TechSys, explain: "We are very pleased to further expand our long-standing partnership with this investment. India is a disproportionately growing, promising machine vision market in which Basler is now positioning itself early on in a customer-centric and strategic manner. Through this investment, we are pooling our strengths and thus creating the best conditions for exploiting new market opportunities and growing successfully in the long term."
