SPS IPC Drives Italia 2016
Sixth edition with new records
The sixth edition of SPS IPC Drives Italia came to an end on May 26, 2016. According to the organizers, the number of exhibitors and visitors at the three-day trade fair far exceeded the already optimistic expectations.
Across three halls, 674 exhibitors - an increase of 11% compared to 2015 - attracted 28,614 visitors to Parma, Italy, 22% more than in the previous year. As in the previous year, the exhibition space amounted to 51,800m2. According to Donald J. Wich from Messe Frankfurt Italia, the constant growth in visitor numbers includes all the key players in the market: OEMs, machine manufacturers, operators and end customers, distribution partners, system integrators, retailers and local media, universities and all those who work with the manufacturing industry.

The special area 'Know how 4.0', which presented the state of the art of the digital or networked factory, was particularly popular. SPS IPC Drives Italia is organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia with the support of Mesago Messe Frankfurt.
