Faulhaber buys stepper motor manufacturer
Effective July 19, Faulhaber Antriebssysteme acquires Dimatech SA, a Swiss manufacturer of stepper motors using disk magnet technology.
With the integration, Faulhaber is expanding its portfolio in the area of stepper motors in the upper performance range and aims to gain improved access to further fields of application in the textile industry, medical technology, robotics and automation. Dimatech, based in Les Bois in the Swiss Jura, will in future be integrated and managed as an additional site of Faulhaber Precistep SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds, just a few kilometers away.
