The WV3650M and WH3650M absolute rotary encoders from the second generation of Siko's 3 mm series are compact and, thanks to their new architecture, interfaces such as IO-Link and smart features, are a solution for Industry 4.0 machine concepts.
In order to be able to use the infrared cameras of the PI and Xi series, for example, even under adverse conditions, Optris offers an outdoor housing that protects the sensitive devices. The housing offers the option of integrating an infrared camera and an HD video camera together in one compact system. A USB server is also integrated into the housing. The housing complies with protection class IP66 and can therefore also be used in dusty or damp environments. In order to be able to use the infrared camera even at very low temperatures, an electrical heating element is included, which switches on automatically at temperatures below +15 °C. A fan distributes the warm air. A fan distributes the warm air evenly within the housing. This means that the system can also be used at temperatures as low as -40 °C. Temperatures of up to +50 °C are possible in warmer areas of application. The optionally available air purge attachment, which continuously flushes the protective window of the enclosure with compressed air, ensures that no dust or condensing moisture can collect there.
