Process Solutions division under new management
Axel Schwerdtfeger has been responsible for the Wika Group's Process Solutions division as Executive Vice President since October 1, 2025. As a member of the Executive Board, he is also involved in the development and implementation of the global corporate strategy.
Axel Schwerdtfeger's priorities at Wika will include strategically developing the product and service portfolio of the division and its subsidiaries, creating solutions with added value for customers and continuously optimizing business processes.
Most recently, Schwerdtfeger was CTO and member of the Management Board at HAWE Hydraulik, a manufacturer of mechatronic and hydraulic components and systems headquartered in Munich. He spent 20 years in various roles at the internationally active family business with global subsidiaries. Among other things, the industrial engineering graduate was responsible for the operational business of the subsidiary in Shanghai, China, as COO for two years.
