Nico Hartman heads the Manufacturing division
As Industry Lead Manufacturing, Nico Hartmann is responsible for business with the manufacturing industry at Microsoft Germany.
Most recently, 41-year-old Hartmann worked for the Weinig Group, a company for woodworking machines and systems. There he was responsible for the Systems Solutions Business. In his new position as Industry Lead Manufacturing at Microsoft Germany, Hartmann is responsible for the Group's business with the manufacturing industry. He reports to the CEO, Dr. Marianne Janik. "As a partner to the manufacturing industry, Microsoft supports industrial companies in successfully mastering the transformation processes of Industry 4.0 and developing new business models, processes, products and services for a resilient and sustainable future in Germany through intelligent manufacturing. With Nico Hartmann, we are not only bringing experience to Microsoft Germany for this task, but also in-depth specialist knowledge and a wealth of industry expertise," says Janik.
Hartmann on his new role: "I am delighted to become part of the Microsoft Germany team and to take on responsibility for the manufacturing business.
