Automation software
Looking into the past
With the current versions of its Zenon 7.60 automation software systems, Copa-Data is presenting the Process Recorder module, among other things. It records individually definable processes and plays them back on demand at a later point in time.
Past processes can be replayed step by step as often as required, fast-forwarded and rewound and stopped at any time. The new 'Context list' screen type helps users to better structure manually entered data and information. Entries from different users can be standardized with the new context lists, which helps when analysing the causes of alarms. Standardized, predefined designations ensure that the causes of alarms can be evaluated retrospectively. A new 3D tool allows project planners to integrate 3D models into a visualization project. The three-dimensional view of production machines is designed to increase user-friendliness. Variables can be linked in the model or functions can be created that display detailed images of a machine part. The current version also makes it possible to link data from geographic information systems (GIS) and the visualization.
