Highjump, which was acquired by Körber, has its headquarters in Minneapolis, USA, and is also represented at other locations in Canada, the UK, Australia and China. It serves over 4,000 customers in the consumer goods, automotive, aviation, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and retail industries.

Highjump has the cloud-enabled SCM technology platform 'Highjump One Platform' and also develops software applications that provide users with end-to-end visibility of all goods flows and the synchronization of their business processes across all channels - from warehouse management to intralogistics and transport management.

Objectives of the purchase

With the acquisition of Highjump and the software companies Inconso, Dmlogic and Aberle Software, which already belong to the Group, Körber wants to underline its claim to technology leadership in the software segment in the area of supply chain management: "With the acquisition of Highjump, we are taking a leading international position in the areas of supply chain management and cloud solutions," says Stephan Seifert, Chairman of the Executive Board of Körber.

Hubert Kloss, CEO of the Business Area Logistics Systems, adds: "With our new HighJump colleagues on board, we now have a very good basis for continuing our dynamic growth in the USA as well as in Europe. The company will be integrated into our Software division within our business segment."

The acquisition was completed with effect from August 28, 2017 following approval by the relevant antitrust authorities
