All-round IP65 protection
The new Simatic IPC327E Basic IPC box PC is part of the Simatic Industrial PC portfolio from Siemens. It is designed to quickly implement applications without specific requirements for certificates, increased temperature ranges or protection classes in industrial environments.
The quality and design of the devices are geared towards industrial applications: For example, the selection and coordination of the individual components as well as the fanless design with a closed housing offer robustness and durability. According to the manufacturer, they can be easily integrated into new or existing automation solutions thanks to the latest PC technology and a wide range of interfaces. They are equipped with an Intel Celeron quad-core processor and 500 gigabyte HDD (hard disk drive) and have VGA and DisplayPort, PCIe mini interface, two Gigabit Ethernet and up to six COM and USB 3.0 interfaces.
