The synchronous drum motor from Interroll is a belt drive with excellent torque at all speeds, maximum acceleration/braking power, optimized energy consumption, low operating temperature and high start-stop potential for industries such as food processing, packaging, dynamic weighing and logistics applications. This drive provides a hygienic and energy-saving drive solution. The fully enclosed drive was constructed and designed in accordance with the criteria of the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group). Thanks to the complete stainless steel solution, cleaning and disinfection times have been reduced by up to 30%. In addition, only materials certified in accordance with USDA/FDA specifications and EU Regulation EC 1935/2004 are used. The 'Interroll Multiprofile' was developed for the asynchronous drum motors and synchronous drum motors with frequency converters, which can be used to drive conveyor belts from different manufacturers with an 'Interroll Premium Hygienic PU Profile'.
