The operation of controlled and sensorless motors is the application area for the Combivert G6 device series from KEB. The ready-to-connect all-in solution operates in the power range from 0.37 to 30 kW. One feature of the devices is the integrated EMC filter for C1 and C2 environments in accordance with EN 61800-3, which means that motor cables up to 100 m can be prepared with leakage currents of less than 8 mA. In addition to operation in conventional industrial areas, inverters can also be used in mixed areas and public networks with class C1 and in conjunction with RCD type B all-current-sensitive circuit breakers. The motors also have the drive-related safety function "Safe Torque Off" in accordance with EN 13849-1, implemented with performance level "e". Fast inputs and outputs of the 32-pole control terminal enable dynamic start-stop applications with high repeat accuracy of the motion profile. Brake control, the brake transistor for connecting external resistors and software functions in eight freely programmable parameter sets are all on board as standard. Device variants with serial interfaces for CAN, I/O-Link and Ethercat or Varan for Ethernet-based real-time communication provide the connection to the control level.
