Ferrocontrol presents the E°SL compact motor series. The permanently excited synchronous servomotors are characterized by a rated speed of 6000 rpm. With a rated torque of 1 to 43 Nm, the series covers the lower and medium power range. According to the manufacturer, the motors require up to 25 % less space than conventional servo motors. They are matched to the 'E°Darc C' drive control system from Ferrocontrol. This means that these motors can be operated at maximum speeds of over 8000 rpm with the special functions implemented in the controller, such as field weakening and over-modulation. EnDat, Hiperface, resolver and incremental encoders are supported as encoder interfaces. A potted stator ensures heat dissipation, which improves efficiency.
