A new software module for the 'AMS Suite' from Emerson Process Management enables the central management of HART devices in a Profibus network that are connected via the 'IS1+' remote I/O system from R. Stahl. The current version 2.4 of the TACC package (TH AMS Device Manager Communication Components) from Trebing + Himstedt thus offers support for the explosion-protected remote I/O solution for the first time. Diagnostic and configuration data can be exchanged with the field devices via remote I/O at any station in a higher-level Ethernet network in the 'AMS Intelligent Device Manager', whereby 'TACC' implements access from the Ethernet to the Profibus level on the hardware side via gateways of the 'TH Link Profibus' type.
