Haim Piratinskiy and Elkana Porag from Israel are aiming for the smart factory rather than the smart home. With the 'n-join' application, they want to take advantage of the rapid progress in the Internet of Things to design production facilities more flexibly and maximize their performance. To this end, the 'n-join' software monitors machine-to-machine communication, analyzes machine data in real time and provides factory operators with what they describe as "unprecedented" insight into the manufacturing process - from raw material to end product - using customer-specific tools.
