Veselin Pizurica's Belgian start-up Waylay offers an automation platform designed to bring together the Internet of Things, IT systems and companies' online services. The platform allows various data sources from the internet and real life to be linked together, automating repetitive work steps. Two examples: The light in the office no longer has to be switched on and off by the user. It can be connected to the web calendar and then adjusts the time and period when it is switched on. Another example: the air conditioning system is linked to the weather forecast on the Internet and adjusts its settings accordingly.
