Phoenix Contact offers universal front adapters for fast wiring of assemblies with the 'Simatic S7-300' controller. The adapter variants for signal and power wiring are suitable for applications with high voltages and currents as well as for small and analog switching signals. They are suitable for switching capacities of up to 250 V(AC/DC) and 6 A. Plug-in components allow the adapter to be connected to the terminal block without errors. In order to use the functional scope of a terminal block, the field-side connection is made to the "Clipline complete" terminal block program. In addition, the encapsulated housing in a touch-safe design enables safe handling. Depending on the application requirements, the front adapters are available in four connection variants. The connection of 20- and 40-pole modules can be made either via the Combi plug connectors or via open cable ends in a cable assembly. For applications with limited space, there are variants with a reduced connector width.
