Hummel is launching a miniaturized M12 power connector for power transmission: The compact connector transmits power up to a rated voltage of 630 V and a rated current of up to 16 A. According to the supplier, this development makes applications such as confined installation spaces possible. Thanks to the use of new materials, the M12 Power works reliably in the temperature range up to 125 °C. The sturdy metal housings are EMC-compliant as standard and can accommodate cables with a maximum cross-section of 11 mm. The connector is available in four codings and complies with protection classes IP67 and IP69K.
