Servo drive EH Ds from Böhner
© Böhner
The EH-Ds from Böhner are compact electric servo drives as a linear unit with a fully encapsulated and position-independent fluid drive. The self-sufficient NC axes are controlled in the same way as electromechanical servo spindles and can be mounted in any position. All functional components are integrated in a hermetically sealed housing. The power transmission from the oil-filled electric servo motor is carried out in a fully enclosed hydraulic gearbox without rotary seals to the outside. The movement and exact positioning of a directly connected fluid cylinder is achieved by the direction of rotation and speed of the servo motor. Applications include various machines: Bending, pressing or straightening systems, as a drive for mechanical joining techniques such as self-pierce riveting, in food processing machines, in special machine construction or as actuators in power plant technology. According to the manufacturer, electricity savings of between 50 and 90 % are possible compared to conventional hydraulics, depending on the process. The EH-Ds are configured from a modular system. Linear forces of up to 2,000 kN are possible.
