Leuze has equipped the LV463 fiber optic amplifier with an IO-Link interface. With this interface option, the settings can now be made directly via the control unit, without manual operation of the slide switch. This affects three different teach modes and settings for range, sensitivity and time functions. Two displays show the signal value and the switching threshold at the same time. Together with the "KFX" plastic fiber optics, the amplifier is suitable for detection in confined spaces. All KFX types are equipped with bend protection on the light exit side to prevent damage at the critical transition point.
