First Sensor presents digital megapixel cameras from the Blue Raven series. The stand-alone cameras are equipped with a digital signal processor (DSP) and internal memory capacities and enable the processing and evaluation of images using complex software algorithms directly in the camera system. Possible operations include image rectification, digital pan and zoom functions (ePTZ), private zones, person and motion detection as well as dual stream and the overlaying of images with other sensor signals such as radar. It is also possible for the camera not to forward any images, but only the information obtained from the image evaluation, which reduces the amount of data. A digital Ethernet interface enables customer-specific programming of the cameras. With their light-sensitive HDR CMOS image sensor and a dynamic range of >120 dB, the cameras are particularly suitable for poor lighting conditions and large differences in brightness. The cameras are robust against acceleration, vibrations and temperature changes, and their housings are protected against water and dust.
