The Baumer 70 ultrasonic series offers a measuring range of six meters, a particularly narrow sound beam and integrated temperature compensation. The series comprises four sensor versions: Two distance-measuring sensors UNAM 70 - one each with current and voltage output, as well as two proximity switches UZAM 70, each with two freely configurable PNP or NPN outputs. The sensor family is used for level monitoring of liquids and bulk materials in outdoor areas or silos. They detect reflective or transparent surfaces, are color-independent and insensitive to dust, dirt and moisture. The narrow sound beam focuses the sound energy and thus ensures high signal reliability even under difficult ambient conditions, e.g. in windy conditions. The nickel-plated brass housing complies with protection class IP67. The detection range of up to six meters can be taught in using a teach button or externally via a cable.
