Keller HCW GmbH is launching the
CellaSwitch infrared temperature switch with integrated control unit. The control unit consists of a display and buttons that can be used to set the switching temperature. The operational readiness and switching function of the sensor can also be checked. The difference between the object temperature and the set switching threshold can be read off the display. The sensor is equipped with two independently operating switching contacts that can be set via the buttons and operated as normally closed or normally open contacts. In addition to temperature limit values, temperature ranges can also be monitored. A test input can be used to check the switching function during operation and without a hot object. The infrared sensors have an anti-reflective coated lens and a splash-proof stainless steel housing. The series comprises three sensors for the temperature ranges 50 to 500 °C, 250 to 1,250 °C and 350 to 1,350 °C. Two sensors are designed as compact devices, while the third family member is supplied with a fiber optic cable and separate optical measuring head.
