Cherry Industrial Solution has a modular sensor kit for speed sensors in its portfolio. The user can choose from several predefined configurations. The individual elements and interfaces of the modular system are standardized. The sensors from the modular system are electrically connected via a 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire interface. The contact is made by means of a cable outlet or by direct connection. The user is flexible with regard to sockets, socket diameter, position/angle and alignment of the bracket for screw mounting. The sensors are housed in a cylindrical housing with a diameter of 10 mm and a length from 25 mm. The speed sensors operate in a temperature range from -40 to +150 °C. Protection class IP67 is fulfilled.
